Waitlist question

We are planning to go in October and I know that 2 nights at the resort we would like are not avail. So I am planning on waitlisting for the entire stay. We are also planning on waitlisting for a long weekend in December - again for the entire stay.

Now I remember reading - vaguely - about some new waitlisting rules. Will these new rules apply to what I would like to do? What are the nuts and bolts of the waitlisting rules?

Not sure of the new rules but since this is 2 different stays you should be able to waitlist both without issues.

I am assuming that you are booking your whole vacations at available resorts so that you will have a place to stay if your waitlists don't come through?

The new rules are you can only have 2 active waitlists at one time. Meaning if for one of your stays, you're waitlisted for BWV Standard or Preferred view. That's all you're allowed. Can't waitlist at any other resorts while these 2 are currently active. So you can't have a waitlist for your other vacation while you're waiting on BMV. Hope that helps
