Waitlist Question

I have been on the wait list since the 7 mth window. I can't figure out why it has been so difficult to get this night. I know it is a Sunday night, but, I thought, with school still being in session and the economy, I would be OK. Well, I guess we will find out this week, as we are getting close to the 30 day window. Any thoughts from those that have experience with the wait list? Thanks and Go Vols!

Did you call to make sure your waitlist is correct? I called about another reservation and asked the Cm to check on my waitlist. It was listed incorrectly--they had me waitlisted for an entire week instead of just one night. My night was available at BWV for a boardwalk view. If I hadnt called I bet I would still be waiting!

I also would recommend calling to see if the waitlist is correct. I called MS yesterday about changing a reservation and found out that both my waitlists were set up incorrectly - although when I set them up the CM repeated back what I said. In fact, one waitlist was for Dec. instead of May!!! And the other waitlist was for the same type of unit that I already had. At least that one wouldn't have been so bad if it had filled. If the incorrect Dec. waitlist had filled it would have been terrible since it would have been downsizing our unit and moving us to another resort for one night.

It actually has me wondering if the system has some problems since I can't quite believe the CM got it all so wrong. I emailed member services expressing that I hoped they might get wait lists to show on the member website so we could at least proof them.

The waitlist I had came in after the 30 day mark (I think so folks don't have points go into holding), but ended up having to cancel the while mess due to a medical issue (so now I have point in holding .. ugh!)

We were waitlisted for one night (thanksgiving night) of our upcoming trip to VWL. We booked at the 7 month window and got all but two of the days right away. The second came up within a couple of weeks but not that one night. I'd call every couple of weeks or so and no luck. Finally last week, as we were a couple days out from the 30 day mark I called and was told it had came through. I asked when I as had not heard from them or got the letter in the mail. Came a few days later. Keep your hopes up because if we can get a 1bdrm at VWL on Thanksgiving I'm thinking your room will come in. Here's hoping it does!

We have been on the list for a one BR at BC for Nov 13th (A thursday night)
since July. It still has not come through. I called today and wanted to make sure it was listed right, it is. Can't imagine why this date is so busy???

We are still waitlisted for VWL or AKV for a studio for the week of 12/7 and have been since the 7month mark. MS has checked for us and the waitlist is correct. We have a ressie at SSR but thought it would be nice to sray at VWL for the holiday season. I know, high demand time, so it may never come thru. That is ok, though because we are still at WDW!

Just called yesterday for 12/7, have been on the waitlist since late Jan and still nothing at all at AKV!
