Waitlist Question

We are on a waitlist to switch from SSR to BWV or BCV (2 brm lockoff) standard view. The dates are June 26-July 3. Any ideas whether or not we have any hope of getting either of these. I have ADR for the week but would probably modify some based on where we may be staying. Thanks for any imput to a new DVC owner.

How long have you been on the waitlist? Last year I had hoped to switch from a 1 b/r to a 2 b/r at BCV for the end of May and got on the waitlist before Christmas, but after the 7 month window. It never came through, although a studio at BWV did (which is where we put our friends who wanted to join us). So, you never know for sure, but there's a good chance it may not happen.

Standard View, right before July 4th? My guess would be not a chance.

I have been on the waitlist since I did the original booking for SSR which would have been in late January. I know it's a shot in the dark but we are taking my two early 20's stepdaughters on their first trip down and we thought they may enjoy being walking distance to Epcot and the boardwalk. I'm sure they will love any one of the DVC homes. We loved SSR and BCV when we made our first visit in December/January. Thanks again for the help. I know our two younger DS's will be happy anywhere, especially when we surprise them with this trip.
