Waitlist question

I have a quick waitlist question. I'm currently on a waitlist for one night in hopes of change from SSR to any other DVC resort. I was told that the waitlist goes away seven days before my stay. Can I call in the seven days prior to my trip to see if anything happened to open up due to a last minute cancellation?

Absolutely. You should call at least daily (it can't hurt to call a couple of times each day in that last week if necessary).

The waitlist is emptied 30 days prior and reinstated for those who call to be placed on it again. At 7 days before the list disappears and you should call daily to see if there have been any cancellations.
