Waitlist pricing??

I don't recall seeing this discussed before, but if it has been, feel free to point me to the thread............

Here is a hypothetical situation........ if I book a cat 4 cabin and put myself on the waitlist for one of the suite categories, then "clear" the waitlist at a later date, would I pay the difference in prices that were in effect when I originally went on the waitlist, or the price that is current at the time I cleared the waitlist and changed categories?

I originally booked a cat. 4 room and asked to be waitlisted for cat 3. Two hours later I got an email saying a vcat 3 was not only available, but it was room 8532!!!!

My DD is our good luck charm for sure!!!

sugarplumsmom........... congrats on getting a cat 3. We had one on the Wonder in 2002 and the room was fantastic!!

I'm hoping to book the CA to FL reposition cruise (if/when it is announced) and figure that I'm probably not going to be able to get anything higher than a cat 4 when I originally book, so I will go on the waitlist for a cat 3 or higher.

outahere...That's what I did when I asked for my quote from DU except I am interested in the FL to CA repositioning cruise!!! How funny!!!
Well, I hope you get cat 3!!! I am VERY anxious to see these rooms!!!
