Waitlist odds Nov 2023

Current have my home resort booked, but planning to waitlist for a planned 3 night stay Nov 9-12, 2023 in a deluxe studio in one of the options below. I realize things are generally busy, but because I can only have two waitlists at a time I am looking for opinions of which would be most likely to be fulfilled. I don't have a preference between each of the resorts below as I want to try one at which I have yet to stay.

Here are my predictions for my choices based on most likely to get to least likely to get, based on points, # of available units, perceied popularity

1 (most likely to get). Riviera preferred studio
2. Poly lakeview studio
3. Poly standard studio
4. Copper Creek studio
5. Boulder Ridge studio (newly refurbed)
6 (least likely to get). Riviera standard studio

Sound about right? Any other considerations I need to make to estimate likelihood of having my waitlist fulfilled?

Do you think our travel time (Nov 9-12) will affect what is reflected in this graph ? Ie make certain resorts more/less desirable ?

Great question - - and I can't say, as we never travel to WDW at that time....

That is the end of what is known as Jersey week, includes Vererans Day and may even include a race?

That is a pretty busy time and it may very well be touch to get any of the nesr park resorts.

The race weekend is the previous one : Nov 2-5. But yes I'm anticipating any of these being hard to get because there never seems to be a down time for DVC anymore.

Well that’s good thst it’s not conflicting with the race!

Poly standard would be the most likely they have a huge inventory ( if you exclude SSR Standard, Kidani, and OKW standard) Also Poly owners trade out more often so they may be waitlisting BW 1br (close in points) and that opens slots.

Riveria owners are "sticky" they tend to be DVC regulars and don't cancel rooms or trade out as much - I could not get a last min welcome home stay at RR and MS mentioned this and was correct - I had Poly and VGF pop up - no last min RR.

On April 11th, member services was able to transfer my reservation at BLT to a Lake view Studio at the Poly. The dates of the trip are 11/11/23 thru 11/17/23. They did tell me that the only available studios were Lake View.

I would expect BRV to be easier than CCV, in part because the CCV studio types make the waitlisting more complex, and BRV has a single studio category.
