Waitlist Magic Again!!

For those panicking about using the 7 month window and the waitlist, I wanted to post my good news!

My BWV Stand. View 1 Bed request came thru today!! I think I was only on the list for 2 weeks. Both of my 5 night (Sun-Thur) periods came thru. (Going to VB the weekend between) It's Memorial Day week too!

We are members at BW also, and I originally booked a Stand view Studio at 11 months, but then thought I'd try to upgrade a couple of weeks ago to the 1 bedroom.

Just want to encourage everyone to use the waitlist because it works!

Congrats! I needed to hear this hopeful news! We were supposed to be in 2 BW view 1 - bedrooms right now but had to cancel while DH has cancer treatments. When we rescheduled for April, only SV 1 - bedrooms were available. Still holding out hope that at least 1 BW view room comes through on the waitlist. I do SO want this to be an extra nice trip for DH...

That is so cool! Congrats. I had to make changes to my reservation today and move my vacation forward a week. So, I am waitlisted for the BWV for three nights over Memorial Day. Thanks for the great news, it gives me hope.

I cancelled a 1 bdrm std view on Wednesday for the 3rd week in July. We decided to do OKW the week of July 4th instead. What week did you get? and congratulations.

I cancelled a 1 day standard view room for May this week it was a Thursday. I wonder if you got it. I am not sure which weekend is Memorial Day weekend by my date was the 18th.

Thanks all!! I just wanted to share, because we have had nothing but magic when it comes to using the waitlists and it truly does work. I think many book at 11 months, but as their plans take shape they change or cancel.

Even when we book our homes at 11 months, I am always changing my mind and second guessing myself, so then I waitlist a couple of months before our trips and so far so good. Waitlists are great for wishy-washy people like me!

I also want to add that MS called me yesterday without any prompting. I actually forgot that I had Wl'd for the 1 bdr, but happy I got it!

We have BWV May 28- June 2 and BWV again June 4-9. I waitlisted for the 5 day periods together, and requested to be called first not autoconfirmed.

I hope my pixie dust rubs off and everyone waiting gets their wish!

Tammy, are you following me? We must be on the same schedule! Maybe we will get to meet this time since we missed the MMM last month.

I recently canceled 2 BWV standard studio rooms for May 5th. We couldn't get a good flight out, so had to leave a day early.

Sprinkle some of that Memorial Day Wait List Magic over here please. We have been wait listed for weeks now for VB for just one night that's in the middle of the weekend stay. I'm getting concerned!!!
