Waitlist luck?

We have submitted a request thru David's vacation rental for AKL studio, standard view 1/27-2/2/19. They dont have anything available at this point. Has anyone had decent luck getting a room off waitlist this far out? Should we try another avenue? Frustrated because this is our second choice and we thought we had plenty of time. Thanks!

Since it's not about the room availability - because there is AKV standard views available - you could always look for an AKV owner offering to rent their points on these boards. You should be prepared to do you due diligence when looking for someone.

Otherwise it's a waiting game with David's for them to have points from an AKV owner who is looking to rent out thru them. No waitlists are required - that would only be if the room wasn't available. Your wait is on AKV points themselves. Since David's is a broker who works as a middle man between owners and renters they do not have control over having the points available when someone wants to rent. They may, or the may not and you have to wait until they do.
