DH and I are going to WDW right after Thanksgiving. I had booked us a studio at the Poly but on a lark waitlisted for a studio at BWV since we LOVE the idea of walking to Epcot. On Monday our waitlist came through! I've never stayed at the Boardwalk. We have a garden/pool view room. I'd like to be somewhere quiet but near a hot tub. 2 years ago we stayed at SSR and had a room right next to the bus station. All day/night we heard those dang buses. It was terribly noisy. I definitely want to avoid that this time.

So what building/wing/area of the hotel should I request for a quite studio? What are the different views for garden/pool rooms?

You won't hear the buses at BWV. The bus station is by the Inn side. Congrats on your WL coming through!

are you flying or driving?

if flying then Poly for sure - DVC has that separate parking lot.

bwv really the parking problem

Luna (main) pool view rooms could have noise from the main pool. There are a bunch of studios in this category that face the Village Green, a semi-BW view. These rooms could have some noise from boat horns or from Epcot fireworks or from people clapping for performers on the BW. Your safest bet if you want a really quiet studio would be to request a view of the quiet pool.

And there is a hot tub next to the quiet pool. :)

We always request upper floor/quiet pool. I do believe that there is a hot tub by the pool. Nice 15 minute walk to the Studios.

yes I also suggest view of the quiet pool, all floors have a nice view of this area and a stairway exit door if you are on upper floor to exit to pool/walkway to DHS, and YES the hot tub is nice and the 9 days we were there, no one else was using it!
