Waitlist for Old Key West GV - July 2,3,4

Am I crazy to think that a grand villa will open up between now and the July 4th weekend? The waitlist worked for us once before on this weekend the year the the Beach Club Villas opened. I sure hope it works out this time. You would think with the 11 month booking window that I would have taken advantage and booked this trip sooner than this morning, but I couldn't nail down my wife regarding summertime plans until last night.

The good news for anyone looking to book any other type of room at Old Key West between 6/27 and 7/5 is that there is PLENTY of availability.

Keeping my fingers crossed for that Grand Villa.

I gave up my OKW ressie for a GV last Wednesday! We had it for July 2-6. The good news is that we have a two bedroom at Christmas I never had good luck being on a waitlist for a GV, but obviously some people do, since someone got my nights!
