Waitlist coming through question

I just logged into the website and noticed that a waitlist I put for October came through. I checked through my emails to see if I had anything that came in that said it and I never got an email stating it. Do emails usually go out letting you know you got your waitlist? If so I guess maybe my timing was that impeccable and I happened to see it before the email came through

It’s hit or miss with me. But, sometimes when they did come, it was like a day or two later from when I noticed the website.

Not all DVC owners probably stalk as much as I do though! Lol

The "Welcome Home" e-mail usually goes out when wait list is satisfied (I got one yesterday). Could be either delayed or in your spam folder. Could be your timing that you saw it on-line before you got the e-mail. Who cares? YOUR WAIT LIST CAME THROUGH!

I never got an email on my last waitlist, it was same resort though.

I got an email several days after my last waitlist came through. I found out by logging into the website

Sometimes we get one, sometimes we don't. In two cases I found out that our waitlist came through when I called MS for something entirely different. They said, "Oh... I see your waitlist came through." If I understand correctly, the match is made automatically but a CM actually processes it and sends out an email.

That could be a tough one - popular room (less points with a 'view') and popular time period. But it can't hurt to try - as long as you have a backup plan! Good luck.

I do not seem to get the emails. I called once to modify a WL and they told me it went thru a few days before. I checked spam fold, etc, etc, got nothing.

My emails confirming reservations go to my junk mail. I always check.

I don’t always get the emails either, my husband who pays no attention to any of them and nevertheless me know gets them instead since he is the primary member on the deed. It’s very annoying since he’s never even logged into the DVC website.
