Waitlist comes through I believe - shows up on DVC website

I'm surprised - our Waitlist came through. But I did just add on a second waitlist when I called last week as I thought I originally had us down for "two" waitlists.

I had us down as BLT - Standard or Lake View for October 30th. When I called last week to double check something else they only had us waitlisted for Standard so I added the Lake View.

Do we typically get a letter to confirm the waitlist? This is the first time in years we have waitlisted for a resort.

My waitlist came through even before we got the original confirmation letter! We were at a Garden/Pool view Studio at BWV and was waitlisted for BCV Studio...was surprised it came through so quickly!

I posted on the availability section that there was none - do I need to change that or is the assumption that since it wasn't available and I had to be waitlisted its still not "generally" available?

It must be the week for waistlists coming through. Last Sunday, we booked a Boardwalk view at BWV for September and waitlisted BCV at DD's request. Well, I logged into the DVC member website on Tuesday morning and our BCV waitlist had already come through. I'm a bit disappointed at not being able to stay at the BWV, but there is always next time.

That's GREAT!!! Honestly, since it was the night before Halloween I had kind of resigned myself to the fact that we probably weren't going to get BLT and just stay at VWL for the night. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked yesterday.
