Waitlist chance??

Looking to book October 20-25 at OKW in a studio. Ugh! I waited too long, and now the 22nd isn't available. If I book the 20-22 and the 23-25 and waitlist that one night, Do I have a good chance of it coming through?? I've never had to waitlist before!!

Waitlists are always hit or miss. We booked last October’s trip to BWV 11 months to the day beforehand and the waitlist for two of our days never came through.

We had a waitlist for this coming October that has already come thorough. We added a day to our trip next week a few months ago and it came through a few weeks ago.

You just gotta have a Plan B in place in you’re going to book the available days. Good luck! I hope it comes through.

I wouldn't care if it was on one end or the other, but it makes me nervous in the middle. I would never expect one to come through at BWV, but this is OKW and only one night so I'm optimistic, but nervous! Maybe I should just stick with my February booking for the Festival of the Arts. I am usually way more organized, and know exactly what I want!!

I would take the chance and waitlist.

We have had waitlists come thru - and the sooner you waitlist the better your odds. Also hawk the website daily for openings as you may find them on your own before the auto-fill goes thru. We had 1 night in the middle of our trip in January come thru for a std. studio at SSR and then we had 2 nights come thru at AKV for a 1-bedroom - both of these were for the first week in January / marathon time when it is super busy. But I waitlisted as early as possible on both. Then we just had a 4 n waitlist come thru at CC for this summer. I broke that one into two 4-night waitlists bcuz I think odds are better for shorter ones. Now we're waiting on the other 4-night one to see if we don't have to do a split stay. But our goal was to try CC for a few nights and we got that. So they CAN work. Doesn't hurt to try and in the meantime make a Plan B. Good luck.
