waitlist chance

So I have a bcv standard view booked for april 25th and I waitlisted the 26th. Meanwhile, I booked a boardwalk view room at bwv for the 26th.
I ultimately want to get both nights at beach club as I have never been there and really want to check out sab and be close to epcot for f&g.
There is a boardwalk view room at bwv still available on the 25th. I have never stayed there either, but between the two resorts bcv was higher on my list.
As I really prefer not to do a split stay on a 2 night trip, the logical side of me says to go ahead and snag the available boardwalk view room and guarantee myself two nights at the same resort. Also, the fact that the rooms will be renovated there vs possible construction going on at beach club makes it even more sensible.
But I really want to stay at beach club... Anyone have any thoughts on my chances of getting the beach club waitlist?

I have enough points to book the available boardwalk view room for the 2nd night. But if the beach club waitlist came through I would not have enough for that.

Then you set up the waitlist so it cancels the BWV reservation and uses those points for the BCV room.
