Waitlist came through….merge reservations?

Hi,
We have 3 days booked at BLT in October and we waitlisted our 4th day at that resort. Our waitlist came through for the same resort and room type. Is there anything I need to do to “merge” the 2 reservations? I wouldn’t want to have to switch rooms as they are the same room types.

Congratulations! Call Member Services and ask them to merge the reservations for you.

To add, they will fill out the form and it has been taking about a week to see the merge happen. It used to happen much faster but things have changed in recent months.

No need to call unless you prefer that. I emailed and it took about a week to combine three different reservations.

I sent an e-mail, and it took 10 days, but eventually I got the email that is was combined!

My waitlist came through today too… I called to merge mine, and the good news… there was NO WAIT! I was not on hold at all! So, very easy.

This can be done via chat as well.

I just got the final piece of a 5 day reservation for October at grand Floridian 2 bedroom lakeview, logged in and made the request via chat in about 5 minutes.

Most times, yes. Sometimes you know because you see it on your dashboard.

Emailing is the easiest if you explain it well. You send the email and when they get to it they do it and then let you know.

Mine were merged automatically when my waitlist matched. CM must have done it realizing I waitlisted one night at the front of my stay.
