Waitlist/borrowing situation

Need some advise from the experts! Here's my scenaro:
I want to book at 7 months for the 3rd week of August at BWV (Stand. View - would need to borrow 8 points from '04). Assuming this is not available, I could book a preferred view (or BCV) and borrow 38 points from '04).

If I borrow the 38 points and waitlist for the standard view and it comes through, then what can I do? Will I be allowed to bank 30 points from '03, or is that a NO-NO?

Hope this makes sense to someone who know all the tricks of the trade! Thanks!

You will not be allowed to rebank the 30 points but there may be other points in your reservation that are current use year points and can be banked. Personally I'd go ahead and make the reservation you want otherwise and then change it at the 7 month window if available. I'm assuming these are BCV points. I doubt the Standard view will be available. The other option is to wait and see what's available, you may end up at OKW.
