Waitlist availability affected by Copper Creek bookings?

Do you have to own at CC right now to see what is open on the RAT for it? It does not show up as an option for me on the RAT but I own at SSR and AKV

No you don't. After you sign in to the Members website, instead of the RAT, go to the FIND DESTINATIONS Tab and select Copper Creek. Then tab to Room & Points. Select your dates & then Check Availability button. If you get stuck on Woody & Bullseye , refresh the page (even though it tells you not to do so). You'll see a link under each category to see the availability calendar.

There is hope. I was shocked to get the e-mail yesterday morning that we got our Poly waitlist for Thanksgiving week after only 6 days.

I have reservation for late October at my home resort SSR, but also I have had 2 Waitlist requests in for BLT and BWV (studio) ever since the 7 month window opened. It hasn't even come close to happening according to the MS. Little to no movement from what they told me. Do you think that folks are just holding on to their current reservations until the Copper Creek villas are available to book? .

I'm thinking how odd that MS told you there's been little to no movement. Don't doubt what they told you. However, i didn't think they were able to see anything as to when others booked, just actual availability when you call.

I'd never dream of cancelling an existing reservation until i had another in hand, especially during a busy time

I have a waitlist for BCV Nov 21-24 ... I still hope that happens. I know its a slim chance but worth a try! We LOVE the BC!!!!! Today when MS opens I am trying to move from SSR to CC! We are looking for a 2 bedroom with a roll in shower.

Idk, but that is what they told me. I'm good now, my Waitlist went through!!!

Also I don't think anyone would cancel without another reservation. I was referring to people swapping reservations. Which I think is happening since several people are getting their Waitlist requests approved.

Owners are still the only ones that can book CCV. The online booking tool is down until "after 9am" and you cannot book via phone until 9am either.

Yeah, I seen the website was down. I didn't know you had to wait until 9a though. Oh well, I got my Waitlist so all is good!! Just need to see those MNSSHP tickets go onsale now...

For giggles looked for studios there our winter trip. Only dates currently unavailable were over Valentine's Day. Rather surprised to see that. Booked @ WL-BR, hope to be able to flip it over @ 7 months.

Cabins are fully available from July through next year right now. Anywhere from 87-195 points per night I would think so!! There is a lot of availability on all of the room types as of right now though.

I already have reservations at Boulder Ridge first week of December. However, need one more night in a 2 bdrm. Would like to switch that reservation to CC and add the night I need at the 7 month window. Since it would be adding a night plus switching the 4 nights I already have....am I able to do so with the online booking tool or do I need to call MS to make the switch?

I am hoping CC opening up will help my WL for a standard studio at BLT on January 3. Currently, I have a lake view book for one night and the standard view booked for 4 nights. It is a pain to switch for one nighe.

The answer is sort of... two ways of going about it. Either you book the CCV 5 nights then cancel the WL 4 nights or you call MS and they can do the whole thing in one fell swoop without potentially affecting banking/borrowing. We actually did something like this yesterday. The wife was on hold with MS while I was trying to get the online system to work (it was very frustrating). We switched from a 1br BR to a 1 br CC. Later in the day our BCV waitlist came through and we changed to that so it was a busy day with MS. A full 7 days in BCV during F&W is a rare thing and with all this CCV hoopla that is what we ended up with.

Thanks for response coup2516. That's exactly what I thought.....looks like I'll need to wait until 9:00 am at my 7 month window and call MS since I don't want to fool around with banking/borrowing this year.....just want to use the points we've already used for original booking plus 37 more for the additional night..don't want to borrow from next years points just to switch the reservation since we already have planned to bank those points which we then couldn't do if they were borrowed!
