Waitlist at Poly and VGF in Nov

I am very pleased with my Nov reservation at AKV - Kidani Savanna view. But my kids would be thrilled for one of our waitlist to come thru at Poly or VGF. They want to stay at a monorail resort. I just switched my waitlist to 7 days out from 31, we are staying 9 days, 8 nights. Asking for tons of pixie dust!!

If you are willing to do a split stay I would try waitlisting only 1-2 nights at the beginning or end of your trip or trying to see if you can get any days there. I would think it highly unlikely you would get 8 nights at either of those resorts at this point- someone taking your exact trip would have to cancel otherwise anyone with a shorter waitlist would get the days before you.

They are moving a lot of people from Wilderness Lodge to Poly so that could cause very few openings.

Wilderness Lodge is starting a major construction project in late October/early November so people who booked before the construction was announced (basically every DVC guest) were told to call. Most people were offered a move or a credit of some sort. They are expanding the DVC offerings there and doing construction on the DVC/quiet pool as well as adding some bungalow type accommodations on the beach there.

A few weeks ago I booked Poly for a week with no problems and it's not my home resort. I guess it's all a matter of timing.
