Waiting & Waiting

I don't want to wish the next YEAR away......BUT I want to cruise!!


How does everyone pass the time?

I feel bad wishing my daughters lives away. All I keep saying is, "I can't wait until we get to cruise next April, I wish next April would get here!"

I am trying not to talk about it too much. I know I am adicted to this board........oops, I am burning dinner!!!

Hahahahahaha!!! You sound like me!! My family and I (along with some close friends) are talking about going in Aug of '05. My mom and I have been discussing this for about a year already and now that we have actual dates and almost confirmed the number of people going, all I seem to do is find as much about the cruise as I can! I'm driving my b/f crazy 'cause I'll sit here and start in with, "Honey! Come look at this! I want to do this....Did you know (insert random fact here)?" LOL! He's going to learn about the cruise whether he cares or not!! He does care but the way he sees it, I don't need to worry something a little over a year away!! It's okay though, he understands that I'm excited about it and will sometimes pretend to be really interested in what I'm saying (actually, I do think he's starting to get just a little bit excited about it!!!). Good luck with waiting and staying sane!

I'm planning out trip for August 2005 too! I know what you're saying about wishing the time away. Everyone in my family thinks I'm nuts for booking so far in advance, but as I keep telling them, it's how you can get the best price, but on the down side it is over a year away. I am finding my self becoming more and more addicted to this board everyday, but I try to keep it under control and keep reminding myself that there is plenty of time to plan and research. I just can't help logging on!
If someone else out there has any advice for staying sane during the long wait, I'd love to hear it!

Hopelea, I see where you are going to wdw in 36 days ! I'd be on the Theme Park board or the Resturant Board. I'd focus on the "land" vacation. Truthfully, we usually book the cruise a year in advance but I don't get on the boards until 6 mos ahead of time.Because, when I do get on, I don't get much done ! HA !My son and grandchildren were here for the weekend and all I talked about was the cruise.They are going w/ us in July. Then I gave him a folder of stuff I had printed out about the cruise....things I've learned from you guys. It was 3" thick !!!
