Waiting to hear from my Guide - any suggestions?

I'm new to DVC and buying into BWV. I got the documents to sign on Monday but there was a mistake in them. I called the closing company, and then told me to talk to my guide, the documents would need to be reissued. I called my guide on Tuesday, and again this morning. I have not heard back. Does it normally take this long to get a return call? Any options/suggestions? I just want to make sure I don't lose out on my purchase, because it says the documents must be returned within 7 days, and we're getting close to that.

Are you buying through Disney? If so, you won't need to worry much. The 7 days are just guidelines pretty much that they don't really live by. To make you feel comfortable though, I would call and ask for a supervisor. We had the same problem with our guide last year and he ended up being gone on a family emergency, but didn't indicate it on his voicemail. We never were able to get through to him and eventually talked to a supervisor.

Also on the bottom of the paper that states to return in 7 days is the number for quality control ( I think thats the name ) and says to call them if you have any questions or concerns. Call them and see what they say about the timeline if anything to put you at ease and let them know your guide has to fix something.

Hi, Had the same problem call quality control they took corrections and Fed-ex'd out the corrected ones got them 5 days later. calles on Fri got new doc.s on weds.

I had talked and begged and finally convinced my wife to buy in to DVC. We never took the tour - so - we were using a friends guide!

I called and left a message on Monday that said: "We are ready to buy - so can you please call asap!" No call!

I called and left a second message on Tuesday and said: "Hey - know you are busy - but - can you call me today before my wife gets cold feet!" No call!

I called and left a message on Tuesday at noon that said: "It is 12:00 PM. If you want credit for this sale you will either call me by 3:00 o'clock - or - I will find another guide!" Got a call back in 10 minutes!

And, I always regret it - because she has turned out to be a great girl! But, when I am ready to spend 12K - I am ready to spend 12K!

I called and got a supervisor, and found out my guide has been off Mon - Thurs. She'll be in tomorrow, and the new paperwork will arrive Monday. I was told not to worry, I will not lose my points (which I what I really cared about). I guess I was a bit impatient. Thanks again.

I had a mistake in my paper work also. Spelled my last name wrong, but got the wife's name right.

They sent out a new package and got the new papers in three days. Don't worry, it'll work out fine.
