Waiting to close on resale

Has anyone else who passed ROFR recently and waiting to close been told that there’s a delay as a result of a problem with Disney’s computer system in mailing out maintenance and taxes, which prevented the sending of information necessary to the title company?

From everything I have read it takes about two weeks to get the closing paperwork after rofr. Please keep us informed as I am curious how long this delay may add to closing time. I have attached a link to a good thread of what happens after passing rofr. It helps explain getting into the wdw system.

I am not sure if this link has been inserted properly but if not just do a search on estoppel letter and you will get a good feel on timing. Hope this helps.

Yes my resale has been delayed. We were suppose to close on 12/21 and now I have no idea when we will close. They say it is all because disney has not sent the dues to the closing company...No DVC for Christmas...

I passed ROFR on 12/12 and still don't have a closing date.

I was hoping to be in the system since I have a non DVC disney trip the last week of jan. Just passing the rofr was enough for me but it still would have been nice.

7 days ago we were told we passed rofr. Today we had the documents emailed. No delay using TCS.

There was a delay using TCS for all of us that were ready to close around the 16th of Dec. The problem has now been fixed.

We passed ROFR on the 13th. I called our closing agent yesterday and asked about our closing documents. We are scheduled for a Jan. 13th closing date and our agent said not to worry until about Jan. 10th. They have not said anything about a delay from Disney.

Waiting to close is so hard.

I did receive documents yesterday. So the timing for me is passed ROFR on 12/12, documents emailed to me on 12/27, which I signed and overnighted with my cashier check on the same day, confirmed receipt 12/28. Now I wait again. I was told that even with the "settlement date" on the document as Jan 5, closing will happen as soon as the seller sends in her documents.
