Waiting till last minute for flghts has paid of.

We decided to take the risk & wait for last minute flights and thanks to ba sale it has paid off.
4 of us travelling 2 adults 2 kids (4 & 6)
Direct flights with ba from lgw to mco
Car hire with additional driver (SUV)
19/5 - 2/6

£2277 in total inc car.

So pleased with the price.

That's a great price!

Not sure what you paid for the car portion, but even so, you must have got the flights for around £500 a piece which is less than I paid on a sale at around the 10 month mark for June. Well done! I don't think I have the nerves to wait it out so close, but it certainly paid off for you.

I had been going out of mind about flights my husband was so calm about it kept saying wait so glad I listened to him as I was going to book va flights at £2600 & would have then still had to pay for car.
Would have liked to have flown with va but then that's because we always fly with them.
Extra money saved now means more shopping money woohoo xx

We did say though that next year we might just book a last minute trip if the flights were as crazy cheap as the £160 last minute ones TC were offering lately I couldn't plan to wait so long though, but well done on the price

Not sure I would dare leave it that long when it involved school hols so really glad it's paid off.

Luckily may school holidays don't seem to be affected by silly prices as much as Easter or other school hols x
