Waiting on rofr

We put our deposit down on 100 points at akv the end of May, and are waiting on rofr now. So excited as this is our first experience with dvc. How long after rofr do you usually close? Is the close date that you get fairly accurate? Our is August 4th.

Start to finish you can be looking at 90 days now.

Congrats!

After the 30-day wait for ROFR, there is now an Estoppel slowdown that started in January of this year. It's delaying estoppels being sent out after passing ROFR by up to five weeks. My suggestion would be to read the last ten pages or so on the thread in this sub forum called "my TimeshareStore Timeline" to get an idea of the wait times currently involved with each step. But it will all be so worth the wait !

Our offer was send to Disney on either March 19 or 21, I can't remember. The deed was recorded on June 3 and now are waiting for our member number.

here's the actual dates
Contract sent to ROFR: March 19
Passed ROFR: April 21
Received closing documents : May 20
My Closing documents received May 27
Seller closing Documents received May 31
Deed showed up on OCC website June 3

Our AKL contract just went out for ROFR today. Has anyone had them come back sooner than 30 days? Is there any particular resort that has had trouble getting through ROFR?

The average seems to be about 27 days these days. AKL seems to go through a bit quicker, so I'll cross my fingers for you!
