Waiting lists for add-ons through Disney

I was curious how many of you have used Disney's waiting list to add on points (or an original purchase). How long did you have to wait for those extra BWV or OKW points? Do you know where you were on the list when they placed you on it? Did you get all the points you wanted or did you have to wait more just to get the amount you needed? I know everyone's experience will be different but I am still wanting to know. Passes the time while I have to wait.....tick....tick.....tick....tick....

When I heard a few months ago that a few points were available at OKW and BW, I called my sales rep. - the points were not my user year. (There was a lotto anyway) I then asked her if I could be put on a waiting list and she said there really is no list - I said just keep me in mind anyway. We are hoping to purchase at the BCV - now we are having second thoughts and wondering if it is a wise move for us right now.

Randy told me that he would find out where I was on the list for OKW points and I found out last week that I am 5th or 6th. Still, if I don't get them by the end of December I can't use Magical Beginnings for all of my points (my use year is April). Which means get a call from them before the end of December or having to wait until April 2002. When he first put me on the list he told me that it would be within a week or two. Now he doesn't think it will be until mid-January. By then the BCV will probably be available for sale and the price/point will go up. YIKES!!
