When you get to your restaurant that you have an ADR for, do they let you know how long the wait will be? :hourglass

If you have a wait for say 30mins. (which I have read on this board is not uncommon) does ALL the party have to wait in line? :bored: Or can a couple stay in line while the others go off for a while, maybe getting another ride in, or shopping?

Sure, if there is a wait, your party can leave, but that is extremely risky. If they call your name, your entire party needs to be available to be seated at once, so you could easily be skipped over and have an even longer wait.

Most, if not all, the Disney restaurants now give out beepers so you don't have to wait right at the restaurant. At Rose & Crown we walked over to the store across the street until we were "beeped". When they call you everyone must be present so they can seat you right away.

Also, if you have an ADR, the wait shouldn't be more than 15 minutes or so unless you're there early, or arrive past your ADR time. I'd stick together even with the beeper.
