I among the many waiting for sw to open the dates for the end of August. I am interested in leaving from Providence. I am wondering what you think the cost would be for the flights coming out? I looked at the flights for July and I think the are not that cheap. If the prices are the same as July, I actually could fly cheaper using another airline. I found a flight for $188 out of Boston nonstop. Is it worth waiting? Does anybody have any idea what the cost will be?

SW, out of PVD for the end of August. I don't have a clue what the rates will be when they are first released. However, my plan is this: book my flights immediately. I am hopeful that the schedule for the end of August will be the same as they show for July. I love the times that they offer, both for PVD to MCO and MCO to PVD. Even if the rates aren't great right away, I will book. I will then continue to monitor their fares and hope they come down then rebook and get a credit. For this particular trip this method works for us because we are planning at least one more trip within 12 months, so a credit is fine.

If you are at all anxious, though, and the $188 fits your budget book now. I think Boston is an extremely popular destination as Labor Day approaches since we are so College/University rich around here. I have been watching the fares near Labor Day weekend rise slowly.

Good luck!
