Waiting for ROFR and have question??

I am waiting for my ROFR and have a question. Before I found the right resale, I already planned a trip to WDW for Oct. 10-17. The plane tickets are non-changable and would like to know if anyone thinks that we will still be able to get anything good. The points that I would like to use have been banked (280) and have to be used by November. Please help.

The entire resale process takes anywhere from four to six weeks to complete so that might put your closing date well into September. At that point, OKW might be your only option but if you can't be flexible with your travel dates, even OKW might be hard to pull off. If you can't use your points, you can always try to rent it out once you close on your contract. That shouldn't be hard to do with Halloween and Thansgiving but again, availability might be an issue. Best advice I can offer to you is to work with your agent and let him know your dilemma. He might be able to help speed up the process just a tiny bit. Lots of pixie dust to you.

Thank you for the info. I hope that I can get something, or I will be bummed. If you don't mind me asking, how do you insert one of those countdown boxes on the bottom of the screen. I'm new at this.

You can also use them for a non DVC hotel, as well as drop some points into a the timeshare exchange program.
