Waiting for new Passholder rates - Grr!

So a while ago I booked a room-only deal for our upcoming trip. It's a 40% off a deluxe deal, and I was pretty pleased with it, but we now want to add the dining plan. Because of our annual passes we can't do it: We can only add the dining plan if our trip is booked with an annual passholder discount, not with a generic one.

(I find that the most insane, frustrating and senseless rule, by the way. What is the logic behind limiting an upcharge? It's one reason why we won't be renewing the AP this year.)

So I have been waiting for passholder rates to be released for our trip dates, which are unchangeable and are from 8/14 - 8/25. The current AP rate offer ends on August 13, the day before our trip starts.

I noticed on the board today that the VISA offers have started going out, and that those dates begin on August 28th. Is this a sign of what's to come with other promotions as well - and more specifically, with the next passholder offers? WIll there really be a 2-week gap between the end of the old promotion and the new one?

I will be so bummed if that's the case. Of course our trip falls smack in between those two sets of dates.

Pretty sure there will be passholder rates from Aug. 14th on. Aug. 13th is the end of summer season and Aug. 14th starts the lower season. They do sometimes try to keep the discounts by season. The FD promotion will have nothing to do with passholder rates.

So if anything comes out for those dates before my May trip on the 21st, if someone wants to kindly fill me in it would be greatly appreciated!

I've been checking the boards about every 5 minutes for I dont know how long!

I think that last year the later August passholder rates were released in the later part of June. AP rates are never guaranteed and are used to fill up rooms, so they are not released as early as other discounts. My guess (and hope) is that we'll see AP rates for 8/14 to October something in about 6 weeks.

You can get on the site with a voucher. If you have troubl call their technical support number and they will help you. They had me use Pass#7 and use the last 3 digits on the card as the ticket number.

Also, if you sign up for Mousesavers newsletter; Mary will announce the discount when it comes out.
