SWA does not charge a rebooking fee, so, the answer is no, I did not get a booking fee when I redid my ressies this morning.

I could not sleep I just had this feeling the fares were going to drop. Got up this am and sure as shootin, they had. I was up until 3 am waiting. OMG, I am becoming an obsessive person.

I am right there with you, in fact my Daughter woke up in the middle of the night last night and the 1st thing I thought was, OH good I can check to see if my flight is out!

Mark that is what we are waiting for they were "supposed" to come out yesterday according to the rumor mill LOL. So far 7:11 EST and nothing again today!

Don't worry they'll come out today at 10:00 (central time)....How do I know this? It's because I have a meeting at this time, so I won't be able to make my reservations for at least an hour after that!

Now that they dropped the BDL MCO to 49.00 each way the fare says only though Sept. 30. so even if they open up through Dec. today I don't think I will be able to get a good fare. I will still lock in seats since we are going again in Feb. I can always rebook with the credit if things go down but I just don't think I will luck out this time........who knows let the wait and see game continue...

Not for nothing, but is there a specific reason that Southwest doesn't book farther in advance?
Does it have something to do with keeping costs down?

Mark-From what I understand one of the reasons is that they dont change the schedule once it comes out so they make sure to do all the fine tuning before they release the dates and times. Which I am very thankful for because some other airlines change theirs so much that when you book with a connection initially you might have an hour lay over but as time goes and they adjust the time it might only be 20 mins. HOpe it helps.

I doubt it would be today now it is 2:09 EST and I just came in from the pool to check. I highly doubt it will happen before tomorrow morning. Honestly I think I will check another airline from now on this is just too close. I am such a planner that I need tickets in hand earlier than this. UGH! Especially since I am going the week of thanksgiving.

Too close? I'm going the week after Thanksgiving (Nov 27th).

The flights will more than likely be very similar to their schedule now. If you're worried about times, just look at the flights for the day of the week you are thinking of, and you'll get a basic idea.

Other airlines are going to be a whole lot more expensive than even $109 each way.

Of course rereading it it makes no sense....I meant too close to the date of departure. I like to have my tix by now but of course looking at other airline's prices I am going to have to stay loyal to southwest LOL
