Sometimes Connections Eatery or Sunshine Seasons will have some festival only offerings, but nothing terribly exciting usually. I don't generally do table service restaurants, so no idea if they have special menusWhat’s the strategy for F&W with a dining plan? Do any of the restaurants have special menus or only the booths?
I save all my snack credits and use them at the booths. Then I don't need a meal credit that day. What’s the strategy for F&W with a dining plan? Do any of the restaurants have special menus or only the booths?
and the BANDSNow we begin the wait for the menus
I was looking for that one too!Is there an "official" F&W thread up? I dont seem to be able to find it.
TBH, that was my reaction to the Flower & Garden (er, "Plants & Food & Wine") food booths this year.I found it a bit anti-climatic last year, same old foods
We've never been before this year (usually end up at Food & Wine) and loved it. I guess not going prior paid off.TBH, that was my reaction to the Flower & Garden (er, "Plants & Food & Wine") food booths this year.

Unlike some of the other ‘official’ threads, we don’t have a person who traditionally creates and maintains a Food and Wine thread each year. If either of you would like to create one for 2025, you are most welcome to do so!I was looking for that one too!
I agree. I don't eat spicy food because it gives me really bad heartburn. I do enjoy a lot of the food but I'd like to try more.I'm hoping for less spicy dishes this year. So many things sounded great - until that last bit/spice. That being said, everything I had last year was really good.
I always go the first week of october to enjoy both F&W and MNSSHP. It is usually hot, but I feel it is better than August. 'Normal" meal times have the longest lines at booths, so I try to avoid them. The lunch crush is shorter than the dinner sruch, which includes the groups looking for the alcohol. My husband and I booked a BB for end of September because they were the only dates available for the room category we wanted, though we had hoped to go when it was not so warm. We are delighted to now realize that both F&W and MNSSHP will be during that time, because in all of our trips, we have never been there during the fall months, so we will get the experience these for the first time.
Can anyone who has attended F&W tell me whether the crowds and lines for the food booths consistently tend to be really crazy? I thought I remembered reading that on here years ago when I was more active.
Also, can anyone who has visited in late September tell me, is their experience that it is just as hot as, say, August? I realize that I can look at historical temps online but doing that alone has backfired on me before, so I was interested in others’ experiences. Our last few summer trips were pretty brutal, heat-wise, so if it is going to feel the same then we will adjust our plans to be out and about less in the day and more in the evening.
We are very excited to finally go to F&W but want to be realistic about how much time to spend there if it is going to be super hot with super long lines for the food.
I've gone every year since 2017 to f&w. I find the lines not so had if you go during the week and before 4. The closer to 11 the better. Normally I start around 11 and I'm stuffed by 1and haven't waited long in the lines during that time frame. I tend to go a few days during my trip to hit all the booths I want. In the evenings because the locals come out and more people are there for eat to the beat the lines get longer. My husband and I booked a BB for end of September because they were the only dates available for the room category we wanted, though we had hoped to go when it was not so warm. There's also an "official" thread over on the Restaurant board with links to prior year's threads for reference.Unlike some of the other ‘official’ threads, we don’t have a person who traditionally creates and maintains a Food and Wine thread each year.
