I have been waiting for the promos for fall and checking the website daily. They should be coming out at anytime right?

Josh

I sure hope so! It would be magical if the promos came out soon! :cool1: My guess is beginning of August.

Agreed. I just booked last week and was a little... okay, a lot disappointed that there were no discounts. Not even a AAA rate available for our room in October.

So - and I apologize in advance, because I'm certain this question has been asked/answered already, does the fact that January promos/pin codes are coming out have any implications for Fall offers?

By fall, you mean October through December? The September deals are already out and the last ones released in June from what I remember. They were announced about 2 months out. Going by that, I would expect something first week of August or so. Good luck.

Disney refers to the Aug-September offers "late summer". Oct-Dec is "fall". :goodvibes

Yes, my friend received the same PIN this morning. I'm already booked and my dates fall within the 2014 dates for the free dining. I'm impatiently waiting for an email to show up so I can apply it to my reservation. Or a public discount for that matter :)

My first time posting on the boards... preparing for our 3rd trip in September, and an extended family one in February.

The Feb one has a tight budget, but we'd love to stay on property... I'm just curious how people get these pins for the discounts? I've heard there's no rhyme or reason to it?

Our travel dates are 02/19-02/25... what are our chances of getting a RO discount?

ALSO; with these 2 trips w/in 6 months one for 7 days the other for 6 I'm considering getting annual passes... is it worth it & how do I found out what the resort discount is with this?

There are some pin codes going around that include these dates. Check out this thread:

Since you're new...pin codes discounts are emailed (or sent by snail mail) to an individual person/family and they are non-transferable.

So if you are in Disneys system, you have a chance of getting a pin code? I just signed up on there website this year, but we went 2 years ago and did everything through our travel agent. Does it make a difference? Should I call Disney to find out if I have a pin attached to my address?

:) We've already booked our trip for 10/18 - 10/26; will we be able to get free dining?

Where are you staying?

ETA: Nevermind, I see that you are at POR. Yes, you can call Disney starting at 7am on Aug 1 (or on July 29 if you have a Disney Visa or Disney debit card), and ask if you can get FD applied to your reservation. you may have to change room types if yours is not available, but if you call early, you will have the best chance of your first choice.

I understand the pins are e-mailed or mailed... how do you get on the mailing list? This is our 3rd trip w/in the last year, and I've booked all 3 directly through the Disney website. Is it just chance who gets the pins?

Disney may have some type of scientific formula for who gets them, but as far as anyone can tell, it is just random. We get some each year, but we don't get all of them.

Thank you smitch :) I just tried to call Disney to see if there is a pin associated with my account, but couldn't find the right option to get through to a live person.
