Waiting for August Hours - All hours are up!!

I don't like the new way Disney has the hours on the calendar (heck, I didn't like the old way either!) and how you have to click on each day to find out which days you can see Spectro or Fantasmic. It is a pain! Luckily, I have time to wait for the DIS gods to do their superior hours calendar before I have to make my ADR's (my trip starts Aug 22). The DIS hours calendar rocks!

Same here! The dates we had planned on going to DHS, no Fantasmic! MK, no Wishes. I know they're trying to save money, but I guess I was hoping for summer they would increase the amount of shows. Oh well...Maybe next trip!

Is anybody surprised at how early the parks are closing? I was looking at August 2008 on TGM for this same week and the MK was open until midnight most nights, DS until 9 every night, and AK until 8. Do you think that these are really conservative estimates and they'll add more hours later, or is it really going to be that less crowded? I don't have my book with me right now so I can't check the crowd calendar on UG, but I didn't think that the crowd levels for the beginning of August were predicted to be that low. My brother has said that he has noticed that Disney has been frequently adding hours and parades at the last minute. The planner side of me finds this to be a little frustrating. Here's hoping to later hours!

August 28 the MK closes at 9:00 and Wishes is not listed. Do you think they will not have it, or it just hasn't been posted yet?

It was my day to make the ADRs and I got up at 6am to do it. I took til 6:08 til I got thru and then they put me on hold til 6:38! I did get all the reserv I wanted: Aug.6 at 50's Prime time HS; Aug. 9 at Crystal palace for lunch MK; and Boma for dinner on Aug. 10 at AK. I was glad about that. Didn't get done til 7am. so good thing I didn't have to work today. also glad the hours finally came up so I could finalize my planning the day before.

I glad the park hours are up for August. But I shocked that DHS is closing either at 7pm or 8:30pm ?

And I hope that not puting wishes at closing just a oversite and they are not cutting down wishes to a couple of nights a week too.

Tomorrow is our 90 day mark!!!

Since I leave for work at 7 (and I'm a teacher; missing homeroom because I'm on the phone with Disney would NOT fly!!!!) my sister is calling in my ADRs.

Wishes is always at regular park closing. i.e. Park closes at 9 PM then Wishes is at 9 PM.

Anyone who is going from August 25th- 31st dont you feel you have been cheated with Extra Magic Hours.. Most of them are in the Morning.........

They are the exact same amount, by my counts. 4 in the morning (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday) and 4 in the evening (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday).

Or do you mean if you're leaving on the 31st, so you don't get DS's Evening hours?

I sorta do,,,but in the same I don't mean to sound whiny and completely understand its just what our scheduling allowed for a trip this year as far as the dates we picked. Our trip is the 25th to the 31st and by that i mean we leave the 31st, with no park time. It does seem like there are less evening hours within that time,,oh well. boyfriend's work doesn't like it when you take a monday to a monday off straight...so we couldn't avoid it that way and we have to be back so nephew doesn't miss his first days of school in September. Just makes the planning more challenging in a good way for me, cause i like to tinker with our plans up to the day of the trip!
