Waiting For a Pin

Is there any rumors out there about pins for the last week of Aug for the FDP ??? The only dates available for me to book Disney are Aug 27 thru Sept 1st. I have always gotten free dining during that time since it is the height of Hurricane Season (lst year was a REALLY close call since one was heading straight for Florida but moved away at the last minute) Just curious if there are others like me waiting and hoping. I have been lucky bec1ause I do get pins now and then

My free dining pin came Friday via email and starts 8/25, also includes 10/19-11/1 and 11/9-11/22. Those are the only variations from the public offer, but are good variations! I have not called to see what resorts are excluded.

Awesome........ just what I was hoping to hear!!

I think I will give it a couple of days and then call to see if there is any pin attach to my husband or my name

I think Hurricane Season scares a lot of people away from Florida and Disney World and that is why they have usually had FDP offers starting from the last couple of weeks in Aug. The difference this year is that Labor Day comes unusually early

My family is going end of august as well and hoping for a free dining pin as it will save us almost $900 compared to the summer discount.

Hi I just called and got a pin "special Offer" attached to my name for FREE dining for Aug 25 thru Sept 1 st Just booked by free dining and resort reservation for Aug 27th thru Sept 1st Good luck to you for your free dining pin also

Hurricane season is June 1 through November 30, with peak season from early August through mid-October. As Rusty Scupper said, Free Dining has nothing to do with hurricane season.

My bad I may have been wrong on why they have free dining the last week of August, but I am happy that they do I am thrilled to get a "special Offer" of free dining for my Aug 27th thru Sept 1st vacation. It made the difference of going or not going this year
