Waiting and Disappointed

How many others are waiting for codes for December? Can't seem to get excited about our trip even though this is a first family vacation my brother, sister and mom have taken together since I was much younger. Want to stay on site (prefer deluxe due to room size) but cannot afford rack rates right now. Afraid to make reservations not knowing what discounts (if any) will be offered for 1st and 2nd week of December. Any recommendations?

The FTP just ended on June 29th, I would give it a week or so before the next promotion or codes are announced. Last year the next set of codes came out about 2 weeks after one had expired.

If you want to go in December make your reservation for a moderate and then upgrade to a deluxe if and when the codes come out.

I too am waiting for the codes to come out. I called Monday night and had a really helpful CM. She told me the codes would be coming out mid-July to end of July. Hope that cheers you up a bit!

I already made my reservations for December, but thought I would have to wait until September or October for discount rates. July sounds wonderful!!!!!

I am also really wanting those rates to come out for December. I am hoping they are good enough to allow us to stay at the Polynesian but if they are not we will be happy at CSR.

I'm waiting too and hope they come out in a few weeks also. We are either doing Pop Century if regular codes don't come out or the Poly if they do.

I would love to be on the monorail again for this trip but if I cannot swing the extra $$$ and have to drive to the parks I'd rather save the $$$.

Have you thought about renting DVC points? It would give you more room. Although I know that is a busy time for DVCers to go.
