Waitin' out the storm - a mid-trip report

I was going to write a very organized trip report when I got home but since the weather has changed my plans, I thought you might not mind a little disorganized information.

I was planning to do some looping and picture taking this afternoon but the storm blew in a little early. I had time to break down everything outside. My sister said when I was letting down the awning, I looked like Dorothy right before she flew to Oz.

I am going to upload some pictures. We didn't see any hail but the news said there was some nearby. The first cell passed but there is another warning until 5:15.

This is our site after I had put everything away.

By the way, we are on site 623 until Sunday. I was worried as I forgot to make a site request and we arrived at dark Saturday night. Luckily we ended up in the more wooded part of the 600 loop.

Even Minnie & Mickey decided to ride out the storm under shelter.

When the rain started "Little April Showers" began playing in my head but the little canal behind us looked like nothing out of Bambi. We did have a couple of canoes and kayaks pass by during the week.

We made it home about 10:00 last night. It rained a lot Saturday night but just some drizzles after we packed up and were heading to the showers and loading the golf cart.

I will post some more pictures this evening.
