Wait, what?!?! We get to go AGAIN?

We just got back from our first trip to WDW in April. It was awesome! Here's my current TR from that trip. However, as a single mom, I knew it would be a few years before we could go back. But then free dining was announced, and I had a brilliant idea! Let's go back for Joey's (my son) 10th birthday!! We can get free dining and go to MNSSHP and celebrate his birthday!!

Then I got an even better idea! What if his dad and his dad's family went, too! And we surprised him! After talking to his dad and aunt about it, it looks like it's going to happen. We (myself and my 2 older kids) are definitely going, but I think his dad's family is going to go as well!

Ok, so I wanted to start a PTR for this trip for a couple reasons. 1) So I can get advice from you guys and 2) Because I can't talk to anyone about it, since it's going to be a surprise.

Since my little one isn't going this time, I had to hunt for a picture of just the older two. My son will be turning 10 on Nov 7th, so we will celebrate his birthday while we are there. My daughter just turned 7. Here's a picture of the 3 of us.



Our rough plan as of right now (I can't book until later this week)

Oct 31- Nov 3
Staying at Pop Century (if it's just us) with free dining OR renting a condo off property (if my ex's family goes)
MNSSHP on 10/31!!

I was able to book Pirates League on the 31st for both kids!!! I asked for the latest appt they had, and it was 10:10am I will keep calling back to see if I can get a later appt, but I'm happy we are in, at least. Worst case, we just pray the makeup lasts all day.

I got 2 of our 3 tickets this morning for MNSSHP! That's all I had money for at the moment. Hopefully I can grab the other one on Friday when I get paid, so fingers crossed they don't sell out before then!

Ok, so I've made a big change. I talked to my 7 year old, and we decided that she will stay home with grandma, so this trip will just be my son and I. My ex and his family still don't know what they are doing, so I am just going ahead an booking us at Pop Century. Here's the plan as of right now

10/30: Arriving at 9:30am. After checking in at Pop, we will go spend the day at DTD. After dinner, we will go back to the hotel and get to bed early.

10/31: We have a breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace at 8:30 and Pirate's League at 10:20. Then we will spend the day in the Magic Kingdom, and attend MNSSHP that night.

11/1: We will spend the day at EPCOT. We have a late lunch ADR at Teppan Edo.

11/2: We go home this day, but I'm not sure when. Southwest hasn't released flights yet, but if we end up with a late flight, we will probably go to Animal Kingdom (or go to Animal Kingdom on the 30th, and go to DTD this day).

I ordered my son's costume on ebay! I use a rewards site called ebates, and I earned enough cash back to pay for his entire costume! He is going to be Jack Sparrow. I'm still not sure who I want to be, yet. Or if I will be buying or making my costume. I am leaning toward the evil queen or Maleficent.
