Wait Times Later in Day

I’ve noticed many people comment that the crowds and lines were less the last couple hours of the park being open. Is that the case just right now with the parks being open later, or was this true also when the parks had the early closing times? We are going the end of April and the hours (right now) are all the early closing times. Just curious if that last hour or slows down or does it remain steady all day with the shorter hours?

People leave early regardless of park closing time for many reasons making wait times shorter. I would expect park hours to be extended throughout April though.

We just returned yesterday. We went to the parks early, took a break and then back at nights. The nights were always better - not just the crowds but the weather.
