Wait times 2nd week of May?

Will we need express passes to get thru the hood stuff? Harry Potter, Hulk, Spider-Man, Jurassic Park, etc? First trip yo Universal in 13 years.

Kind of depends on your waiting in line threshold. Expect moderate size crowds that week...which will peak mid-day. Be aware the main Harry Potter rides (FJ, EFG and HE) do not support Express Passes.

How many days are you planning? How many adults/kids? If you are thinking Express Passes, making up your mind beforehand can save you money. Staying onsite at a deluxe hotel with more than a couple of people can usually pay for cost of Express Passes.

2 adults and 9 and 10 year olds. Just planning on going 1 day during our Disney trip. So no express pass for HP.....good to know. I assume get there at opening for HP stuff? Which side first? Thanks for your help@!

If you don't have early entry, then I would recommend going to the park that doesn't have early entry that day for rope drop and head straight to the given Potter land. It will be less busy than the other Potter side since people would have been filling into it for the hour of early entry.

Then do the other Potter side towards the end of the day when crowds have died down there.
