Wait Time November 2019

You will be able to book 180 days plus 10, so you will have to log on 5 days in a row to fill out all 14 days. Also, in regards to the Christmas Party, if you go to the one on Tuesday, it should be less crowded than the one Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Thanks and how will the fast passes work. How many times would I need to log in for them

We go to WDW / DL every other year for Thanksgiving and to hear people talk you'd think it was the worst of the worst time to go, but my experience has been that it is not as bad as high summer and also not as bad as the week before Christmas. Just do the usual things that are recommended - go with a plan, get all your fastpasses at 60 days, book dining early, especially for your Thanksgiving meal if you're doing one of the more popular ones (though even if you miss out on that, most of the Food Courts even offer a Turkey dinner on Thanksgiving, as does ESPN club). Go early (before posted opening because they will likely open earlier), get fastpasses starting about 11, then when you run out, keep getting more as you go. Stuff you wouldn't think (Flight of Passage) even opens up from time to time when it's crowded if you are persistent. Book dessert parties if you can swing it for the night-time shows so you are guaranteed a spot without hassle - or just do those earlier or later during your trip. Easy peasy. Go and have fun. :-)

Haha you make it sound very good I must say lol

Mybe just do the water parks and universal those days

I just thought it might be crazy everyday in every park but sounds like it may not be as bad as I’m thinking and nothing worth cancelling over

Universal will be crowded as well those days. Stick with your fast passes, hotel pool (weather permitting), and dining reservations on the busiest days. Don't worry, with 2 weeks, you will be able to leisurely take in all that Disney has to offer.

You will be fine as long as you make your ride and dinning reservations. It's the best time to go with the parks decorated for Christmas. Be sure to catch the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. It's one of the best things in Disney.
This is the a great tip. Make sure to enjoy the Candlelight Processional and the storytellers around the World Showcase. One idea for Thanksgiving would be to see the Candlelight next year on Thanksgiving since they are starting it on Thanksgiving this year. That way you enjoy a nice meal and the Processional during a crowded day.

That would be nice

What actually happens at it and how longs it last. What restaurant would you go for on thanks giving day if we done that

It is basically a story about the life of Jesus with a full orchestra with a guest narrator (celebrity) providing the readings. I have seen it every time I have gone over the holidays. You can honestly eat anywhere at Epcot except signature dining for the dinner. We ate at San Angel Inn on Christmas Eve last year. Usually, we have eaten at France before we go.

So are you saying I should get a package

What does that get me and what if I have free dinning

You can pay either out of pocket or with the dining plan. It will cost you 2 TS credits, which is why you can’t use it for signature dining since it is already taking 2 credits. I would recommend getting the dining package instead of just waiting in the stand by line. I have always paid out of pocket no matter if I was on the dining plan or not.

Do I pay at the time of booking for this ?

So I take it I will get quicker entry to it if I do this. Do I get a better viewing area too ?

You don’t have to pay when you book. It is like a typical ADR. You pay when you eat and you can left the server know at the beginning whether you will be using the dining plan or pay out of pocket.

Depending on who the narrator is you could be standing in the stand by line all day and may not even get in. By using the dinner package you ensure entry as long as you are there 20 minutes before the show. We typically get in line 45-60 minutes before the show and get to sit in one of the first 5 rows (which are covered seats so you get some protection from the elements).

Oh nice it’s a sit down show. Where abouts in Epcot does it take place

Do you packages come out 180 days before. Do u think they will be hard to get for thanksgiving day itself

I think we will just pay out of pocket and do a signiture restaurant another day

It’s in the world showcase in the theater located across from the American Adventure. The packages come out around July 1st of that year. Thanksgiving would probably one of the more popular days I would assume but you will be able to get a reservation. I would suggest having 3 choices and you will most likely get one of those choices. Since you are paying out of pocket, I would get a lunch reservation to save a little more and see either the 5 or 6:45 showing.

Sounds good. Thanks for the tips

I’ll need to have a look at the wait times on the app this thanksgiving to get an idea lol
