Wait time for Peter Pan exceeds RSR!

Well I hope the crowds are good for you.

The wait times are shorter this morning than they were on Monday. It's just crazy. I expect it will get busier as the day goes on. Both RSR and Toy Story were closed when I checked at 8:15 and 9:45. Several rides were closed at 8:15 in DL too, though they were all open at 9:45. Today is the last Saturday Deluxe APs are valid until mid August.

I saw that! I first checked at about 10:30 and the lines were so short considering both parks opened at 8:00 and there were so many ride closures.

RSR seems to be really unreliable in general. On our last trip over Veteran's Day weekend, we never got to ride it because it was closed all day on the day we planned to.

I forgot about the Deluxe APs Saturdays ending around this time. We used to have those when we were locals, so I remember the time of Saturdays shutting down quite well. It's why we went to the parks much less during spring and summer.

Yeah. Looks like RSR has been closed all day today. Feel badly for anyone who was visiting DCA only today on their trip.

Such a bummer, especially with TOT and Grizzly being closed too! RSR really seems to have a lot of all day closures. :(

My feeling is ride 4 other rides in the time it takes to wait for that one, then later in the day when all the lines are long wait for PP. A lot of people don't like the idea of FP for Peter Pan, but I"m looking forward to it and hope the rumor is true.

If everyone did that, then things would just be shifted.

FP for PP at Magic Kingdom has made it SO much worse there IMO. I'm hoping for the exact opposite of you. FPs for something like PP is insanely ridiculous. And if they put in the "plague wall" (honey wall) I don't know what I'll do. Those hands-on things are disgusting (and I'm not a germaphobe unless someone is literally coughing ON me).

Sometimes it's OK to just go chill in a line. PP's line isn't torture. It isn't overly fun, but it also isn't awful. It is what it is, and before you know it the time has passed and you're on it. No biggie. You don't want to do it. That's fine. I've never noticed anyone in the PP line moaning and groaning about the wait (except for my son but that was because it went from outside in the sun to under the awning in the "dark", he was tired and hungrier than anticipated, and he was little, so he would have moaned and groaned about anything at that point...once we were on the ride he was great!). People I've noticed are spending the time chatting and planning and laughing and talking and in general having a decent time. :)

We were there this past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday, Splash went down while we were on it, so they gave us the requisite universal FP. So I'm thinking "Hooray! I've got my RSR-after-dark FP and I don't even have to go over to DCA for it!" Well, RSR went down sometime Friday before we got there, and didn't come back up until Sunday morning (and we never did use that universal FP). I was with a friend who'd never ridden it, so we immediately got FPs (they were going like hotcakes once the ride came back up) - even though it wasn't for evening, at least my friend got to ride it once.

Saturday was our DCA morning - RSR was down, TSMM was down (we never did get to ride it), and Little Mermaid was down for a while. We were pretty much done at DCA by 10:00 that morning.

Yeah I saw that. DCA did not look like the place to be Saturday morning. That's a real bummer for you.

Eh, they had hoppers (and we are APs), so it wasn't TERRIBLE, but it would have been a real bummer if we hadn't. My DD8's favorite ride is CS, and that didn't go down, so she was happy, anyway.
