Wait or Book Now??

Hello Folks:

We decided today to take a short trip to US/IOA in November. Our dates are 11/17 to 11/27. We are APs. The rates aren't great at RPR (we want to be onsite) $178.00 - $214.00 per night during our stay. This will be the first time going to Florida w/o going to WDW.

Should we book now? Will the rates get better? Can we change after booking to a lower rate? Is it the same process as it is at WDW resorts?

$174/night is pretty good for a deluxe resort. You can book now and just call and have them change it if the rate changes.

Does it matter whether I book all 10 days or would it be better to book 2 five day reservations? Or something else?
