Wait listers for Thanksgiving to New Years?

I'm just a little curious...

Has anyone had to wait list for any part of the period of Thanks giving week through New Years? Say 11/18 through 1/6?

There is so much excitement about getting reservations day by day for this period that I'm wondering what people are specifically looking for that they haven't gotten.

Truthfully I'm expecting (hoping) this post to (will) fall off the first page because nobody had to wait list...but lets see!!

At this point, I think you will find that most who are on the waitlist want a standard view room at the BWV.

I agree with Carol. The first year we went to WDW for New Year's I waited until the 11 month mark of the last day of our stay to call for a reservation. We ended up waitlisting for a 2BR standard view room for New Year's eve. That was the only day of our stay that we had to wait list for. We have stayed there a few a couple more times since and always call day by day for the New Year's eve reservation. I called this morning, got our room and now don't have to worry about it.
