Wait list / Resie - Would you?

So, for our December trip we have to move 3 times. We have SSR for 3 nights, BLT 2BR theme park for 5, BWV 2BR bw view for 2 and treehouse villas for 1. All related to 11-month and 7-month windows and airfare issues.

Anyway, question is:
We check out of BLT on a Friday, stay at BWV Friday and Saturday and then check-out and move to THV for Sunday.

Currently, we are wait listed for BLT that Friday - Monday and at BWV for just that last Sunday to try and avoid so many moves.

Today, a 2BR theme park view is available for the Saturday night. Meaning, I could fill in Saturday, but still potentially have to move for the Friday before and the Sunday after. Would you take this HOPING that the Friday night came available as a wait list in the future? Or, would you say I'm not risking having to switch hotels 3 days in a row?

We'd be banking on the Friday night coming through at BLT to avoid the nightly moves.

Edit: I should add, we're going the first half of December, not the holiday week. Not that anytime in December is easy with DVC.

i'ts all a personal opinion regarding split stays & moving. some people love it. i'd rather not, ever. so i waitist & so i don't have to move.

I would keep the waitlist that you have and just wait. You probably won't want to move 3 times if you can help it. It may be closer to 31 days prior to your arrival that you find out whether your waitlists come through. I wish you luck.

Definitely keep yourself on the waitlist. I'm not a fan of moving once, but 3 times is rough. When we stayed at BLT in early December 2010, we were supposed to be at BLT only one night and then the rest of the time at AKV. My waitlist never came through.

When we checked in, I asked the front desk if there was the possibility that we could extend our stay at BLT for a few more nights, preferably the entire week. It took until later that day, but he was able to get us a room for the entire week and we could stay in the same room, not having to move at all! I guess when you are at the actual resort, they have more flexibility.
