Wait list Question

OK, so say I go on a wait list, but don't have enough points in the UY, will they borrow the points necessary to complete the transaction or do you have to have all the points available at that time?
Every time I have borrowed points, they always ask permission.
From my understanding, the wait list could come through at anytime. Could you explain this to me? Thanks!

I have more than one sub contract, and I always tell MS where the borrowed points should come from. I'm waitlisted for a stay that will take 15 points more than the current reservation, and I don't have points in this UY. MS noted in the waitlist request where I wanted the points to be borrowed from.

If you have a a like-case scenerio, and want the points borrowed from a specific resort, tell them. Once it didn't happen the way I wanted it, and eventually it was straighted out. There was a record of what I had told them to do, I guess.

They should ask your permission to borrow when creating the wait list if you don't have enough current points. That's what they did for me.

They did they same for me as well. They should ask you if you would like to borrow from your points to fulfill your points needed.
