Wait List Question

My Wait List for BWV for one night came through.. My question is that my reservations show me having two different reservation #'s, so does that mean we have to check out and check back in?? How does that work.

If you don't mind me asking....what night of your reservation came through, which month? How long have you been on the waitlist for? Is it a boardwalk view?
Sorry about all the questions, its just that i have been on a waitlist since the begining of Jan. for a boardwalk view studio for Nov. 22, 2007 and my daughter was put on a waitlist at the end of Feb. for the exact night at BWV for the exact same boardwalk view studio i need and her waitlist came through....mine didn't. i was just trying to figure out how that would have been possible since i should have been before her on the waitlist.

My wait list was for November 6th for a 1 bedroom. The wait list acutally came through on the same day. So I was very lucky. I think they put you on a list and when a room becomes available they go to the first person on the wait list.

glad to hear yours came through on the same day...i thought that is how it was suppose to work , but i should have been on the waitlist before her, so i should have gotten the room before her...but i am glad she got it and i hope i get mine too.

I requested a Boardwalk View... Well thats all they had left..

Thats so weird that your daughter got the room before you did and went on the wait list after you did..

crys5, we had this discussion with a cast member today. the waitlist system isn't that reliable in that people on the waitlist may be pipped at the post when a date becomes available at the same time a CM is on the phone trying to find a reservation. If it comes up on the system, it can be booked by the CM then and there.

Very bad I think, but the CM said there's nothing they can do about it as the system doesn't instantly update.

I was told by MS that I lost both my reservation and what I was trying to book because in that instance the system instantly updated! I do not like what can happen, and have written a letter. This is an example of getting 2 answers for the same question and each person is being told there is nothing that can be done!
