As soon as I got my membership number after joining F & F I called and got put on a waitlist for HH in April. I knew it was a long shot, but figured I had nothing to lose, lol. So is it safe to assume I will def get a call if something comes up? I read where a lot of people call every day. Which is better? Can you do both? lol! I'm sure I won't get in, but really wanted to take my mom and dad down bc it's right after their anniversary. They went to WDW the first time over XMas and we had a blast. :wizard: Also, they kicked in a big chunk for my down payment, so I really want to repay them. Should I start calling or just wait to see if I get a call? Thanks for all your help everyone! :thumbsup2

There are two ways to be notified when you waitlist -

1. Auto confirm. If the waitlist comes through, MS just books it for you and sends you a confirmation letter in the mail.

2. Call first. If the waitlist comes through, MS gives you a call to see if you still want it. Many members do this if they have to cancel other reservations to reserve the accomodations that come through on the waitlist. Some do it if they have to borrow points to make the waitlist reservation. Some just like to know in case they change their mind and forget to notify MS to take them off the waitlist.

It wouldn't hurt to call MS to confirm that you are actually on the waitlist correctly and for which method (if you don't already know, of course).

All waitlists expire at the 31 day mark. If you want to stay on the waitlist after that, you must call MS and let them know. AT the 7 day mark, there are no more waitlists. After that, you need to call every so often if you still are hoping for accomodations.

Best wishes -
