Well, I procrastinated when I made my NYE ressie and didn't make it until the end of Feb--at that time, they had all the nights available for a 2BR lockoff, except for Dec31st....so I was waitlisted... I just received my confirmation that I have all my nights!
I learned a couple of things. It seems that they still had availability for a 1BR unit at the time that I made my ressie (someone else posted that they were able to get ressies for NYE for a 1BR unit about a month after the time that I was waitlisted for my 2BR lockoff). So, what I should have done when I made my ressie was ask about availability of a 1BR unit. (I figured we might have to move, but the way the ressie stood, we didn't have anything for Dec31st and would have had to move anyway
). I called back to member services to ask for this, but by the time I called back, there was no availability for a 1 BR unit, either. So, I had them wait list me for a 1 BR in addition to a 2BR...... Just a few days later though, my 2BR came through.
I also learned that you can get a 2BR dedicated with the 2 beds in the second room guaranteed. So, I am on the wait list for that now. (I didn't think you could get that guaranteed, so that is a nice surprise).
