Wait list for BW view

I am on a wait list for 1 BR BW view for the last week of May, What do you think my chances are.

If you got on the waitlist before the 7 month window opened, I'd say your chances were better than 50-50. If you got on the waitlist after the 7 month window opened, I'd say not so good.

It was after the 7 month window. There are some nights avalable with the BW view. Should I take them and wait list the two or three days that are not avalable?

If the days that are available follow each other, so you would only have to move once, I would take the BWV, and waitlist for the others. I don't particularly like to move, so I would waitlist for them all at once and not day by day, but then too, you probably will have better luck getting them one at a time.

My BW view waitlist just came through last Friday! So don't give up hope! Sending good luck your way! My BW view waitlist last year came through very late - just a little over a month before my trip!

I would take the rooms that have the BW view - it is soooooo worth it! We just loved sitting on our balcony, people watching, and seeing Illuminations each night over Epcot. And, like someone else said, your odds of getting the other nights may be better. This year on our trip, we are actually checking in to a preferred view (booked w/cash and member discount), then moving to the BW view for the rest of our stay at BWV. They didn't have that first night available with a BW view....but we don't mind moving! Like I said, it's worth it!!!

At Christmas 2004 (mid December), I was able to wait list for BW view shortly after 7 month window opened and was successful. Seems like I booked a preferred view and as each night became available I switched over. Didn't get all four (4) nights at one time, but it did work out for me.

I do recall calling occassionally to ask about the wait list and had better luck than waiting on the call from MS.
