I was reading the thread about BINGO (which, by the way, I have to play on every cruise) and read that Que is gone!?!? What does that mean? Like off the ship or not doing BINGO anymore? Because if he's gone, that means I lose my dance partner in Rockin' Bar D! For the past two summers I've been on the Magic and gone in Rockin' Bar D and for the past two summers I've been pulled up to dance by him! I figured this summer would make three in a row! Plus, he's just a nice guy! Please tell me I read wrong!

Que is gone. I just got off the Magic and Dezzler (?) was doing Bingo. It was my first time on the Magic, so maybe someone else knows more than I do about it.

We cruised in December 2003 on the Magic. I have no idea who Que is, but he must have made a positive impression on many. Rachel, the cruise director called all the bingo games on our cruise.

O.k., I just have to ask, but how great was this guy Que? I've seen threads regarding him and you all are grieving (those that really know him). Don't flame me, I'm just curious to know who the Que person is.

He was a great pert of the entertainment staff and I know we will miss him on our next cruise. I bet he will be hard to replace.

His name was Quentin and he was from South Africa. He sailed with us the last two summers. He was a cruise staff member of the entertainment crew. He was personable and fun to interact with (due to the accent!) Great enthusiam, we were looking forward to sailing with him as well!

How did you (and Disney) find out? He was so personable and helped everyone on the cruise to really enjoy all the entertainment. He will be missed!

Wow, strict policy if true.

My first cruise on another line the crew members said a frequent 55 year old female PASSENGER had been banned from the line for life for....."getting a little too friendly" with the Indonesian cabin stewards. Management discovered a line of cabin stewards outside her cabin.
The cabin stewards, however, were not terminated......but I hear they really miss her.

This is what people think happened...but none of us know for sure. There was another thread along these lines a few weeks ago.

All I can say is I highly doubt that was the reason. True, no one really knows a person but after cruising with him 5 times you do get a sense of what a person is like and Que was always top notch and professional, courteous and respectful. Plus he had his steady girlfriend onboard (crew)...he would have to be pretty stupid to jeopardize his career with Disney and his relationship with his GF to get involved with a passenger....that scenario just doesn't sit right with me. JMO.

We have cruised with Que a couple of times and have always enjoyed his energy and personality.

I personally think it is wrong for anyone to speculate what really happened. The only ones who know what really caused him to leave are Que and his immediate supervisor onboard.

I wish him nothing but the best in the future.

Disney has had some great people on their entertainment and cruise staffs. These positions require a lot of energy and long long hours. Needless to say I think that is one of the reasons they have a lot of turnover. I do think that Disney has done a great job of picking people for these positions and trust they have and will do the same going forward.

I don't think it's wrong. For over a year I've read about this great guy, and he surely must be, if so many people rave about him. But when someone is suddenly gone and there are rumors, speculation is only natural.

I wish him nothing but the best in the future.

I wish him the best, too. But I still would like to find out what happened.

It would be also nice to know that he is well in his current circumstance. Does anyone know if he is sailing on another line? He indicated to me that he has been "traveling" for a long time so I would assume he will continue! We all miss him and wish him well. I agree that DCL always finds excellent staff to make our cruise special. I'm sure it will remain special this summer!!
