I just booked our stay at SSR for April/May 2018 using MY points for the first time ever!!!! Wahoo! I am so excited!

Chances are when my 7 month window opens, I may try to switch to AKL-K 2 bedroom instead of 2 studios at SSR. (We have a group of 10, which includes 2 under 3) because I don't know if I can make it without a washer/dryer since we will have a 5 month old with us.

But still, YAYAYAYAY! I'm going home!

I feel your excitement -- i booked our first trip for April 2018 at AKV 2BR -- I too am toying with changing the first few nights to an Epcot resort as our first few days will be going to flower and garden and over to HS. I think the time you are traveling you should have some availability to change to AKV -- Definitely consider the standard rooms as i have heard there are plenty of areas to view the animals and if you are going to be hitting the parks a lot it really isn't worth the extra points for the savannah view.
